Applying DBC's to CAN Message Data

Applying DBC's to CAN Message Data:

Note:
  1. To be able to apply DBCs, it is necessary to have DBCs added to the given Project.
  2. Only the Users with 'Admin' permission are able to add DBCs to the given Project.
  3. Read this article to know how to add DBCs.

To apply DBCs:

1. In the left pane, click Message Analysis () icon.

2. From the Project List, select a project.

3. Click the Database tab.

4. Click the Upload Message Files > Add message file set.

5. Go to all files and Add files to your set using the Add to set () icon.

6. Once the files are analyzed click on Apply DBC icon to apply DBC to your message set.



7. Select DBC files that you want to apply on your message file set.
Note: Users can also select the channel on to which to apply the DBC (Channel 1 or all the Channels of your message file.)


8. Click Apply.
