Analyzing CAN Message Data

Analyzing CAN Message Data:

1. In the left pane, click the Message Analysis () icon.

2. Click on Database. A list of 'Message File Set's will be visible.

Note: A 'Message File Set' is essentially a folder meant to store CAN Message Data. CAN Signal or other timeseries data files cannot be uploaded to a 'Message File Set'. To do this, read this article

3. Create a 'Message File Set' and upload raw CAN files to be analyzed. Alternatively, to fetch files directly from a AWS S3 Bucket, read this article.

4. Click on Message Analysis tab

5. Select the Message File Set containing the required files



6. Check the Event View


'Event view' displays a summary of events detected from the data. Users can select / deselect / reset the Event Selection to customize the 'Event View'.

7. Double click on any Event in 'Event View' to navigate to the corresponding line of CAN Message & see more details.

After selection of 'Message File Set' in 'Message Analysis', StellarAi displays 'Event View', 'Message View' along with statistics of the CAN Data.
User can filter the events using - 'Arb Id', 'Channel Number' and 'Databytes'
